Henderson & Payne Diversity Equity & Inclusion Partners LLC was founded on April 30, 2022, in Louisville, KY.

We are a Black woman-owned DEI firm servicing corporations and organizations globally. 

Tammye Henderson

CEO & FOUNDER


Before becoming a Global Diversity and Inclusion leader in Corporate America in 2014, Tammye spent more than 30 years in Human Resources within the healthcare industry and in Corporate America. She has an undergraduate degree from Sullivan University in Human Resource Management and a Certificate of Diversity Management from Cornell University, ILR. She also holds SHRM-PHR Certifications from the Society of Human Resources Management. Tammye's HR experience provides her understanding and expertise in integrating DEI principles into HR.   She has provided strategic direction, education, and learning around the globe, including the US, Canada, Mexico, and several European Countries. She also offers facilitation, coaching, and training as a Maxwell Leadership Certified Team Member.

In her community, Tammye is known for leading with the spirit of grace and compassion. She is also known for volunteering and presenting DEI to various community organizations such as Kentuckiana Boys and Girls Club and Walden Schools.

On April 30, 2022, armed with a passion and determination to expand her reach, Tammye launched Henderson and Payne Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Partners, LLC, which provides DEI consulting, coaching, education, and learning around the globe. 


RECOGNITION

Tammye Henderson received the Brown-Forman Corporation BUILD ERG Elmer Lucille Allen award for 2022.  This award is given to an individual who inspires and influences others as an avid advocate for Black Employees. They have made lasting contributions that impact Black Employees through allyship and membership engagement, People and Capabilities, and Strategic Partnerships.  

Tammye has enriched the lives of others, particularly those who are on their Diversity and inclusion journeys within Brown-Forman.  Colleagues highly regard her genuine commitment to pouring into others with unwavering support and acceptance. Tammye has shown ongoing initiative, leadership, and dedication within the D&I space. She has also been a visionary leader, always seeking to be innovative and determined to improve the experiences of others. Tammye leverages creativity in meeting people where they are; she is a change agent on our journey to “Be Better and Do Better.” With great respect and admiration, we celebrate Tammye Henderson for receiving the Elmer Lucille Allen award for 2022.

Lauren Payne

Project Manager


Lauren is a methodical and process – oriented corporate leader with an extensive background in Medicaid operations. With her passion for healthcare disparities, she leads health plans nationally in quality improvement, multi-cultural healthcare, and health equity accreditations. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Asia Payne

Operations


Asia is a higher educational professional who has over a decade of experience with access, recruitment, and retention. Much of her career has been spent working with marginalized and minoritized students in their pursuit of, and matriculation to and through, college. She currently leads initiatives that impact student, faculty, and staff experience including project management and strategic development. Asia received both her graduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of Kentucky and resides in Lexington, KY.
